The idea began in the spring of 2014 to join the forces of alternative acoustic folk and dark sludge metal as interests and common ground began to grow between Moriah Woods and Hidden World. Moriah Woods comes from the high mountains of Colorado USA with a very old-time folk and acoustic background and Grzegorz Napora originates from Puławy Poland with a dark metal background.
